Resin Topped Knob Stick With Fishing Fly

This stick has a cow horn handle. The handle is levelled off with clear casting resin on top, painted with a colour to make the embedded item show up to its best and then the fishing fly was covered in resin. After it has set shaping takes place followed by polishing to achieve the effect that you see here. The shank is of hazel. A buffalo horn spacer is fitted between the shank and head. The shank was then polished with oil for protection.
