Oak Burr Crook

This crook has been produced from a piece of oak burr. Burrs are formed on a tree where generally a section of trunk or branch becomes deformed during growth.
Burrs are very hard and I find can only be worked with saws, Dremel type powered tools, files and good quality sand paper.
